Matt Garza and Edwin Jackson Possible Yankee Rotation Fixes

The New York Yankees are starting to make headlines.  With a little more than a month before pitchers and catchers report, the Yankees are still trying to acquire an arm for their rotation.  Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reported that Matt Garza and Edwin Jackson are on the Yankees' radar.
Chicago Cubs have reportedly set the asking price for their pitchers.  GM Theo Epstein is asking for Yankees' catcher Jesus Montero, and either Manny Banuelos or Delin Betances.  Although the price is not too steep, we really don't know if Brian Cashman will pull the trigger on the trade or balk.  Garza is 28 years old, and he is coming off a 10-10 season with a 3.32 ERA.
If New York doesn't trade for Garza, they could look to sign free agent pitcher Edwin Jackson.  Jackson released a statement through his agent Scott Boras saying that he is looking for a five year deal worth about $60 million.  He is 28 years old, so a five year deal is not that bad, but the pitcher is not very mature yet, and he has been on six MLB teams during his nine years in the pros.
Which pitcher do the fans prefer to be in pinstripes? Garza is under contract for two more years, while Jackson would be commending a fresh contract.  The fate of the bombers 2012 season is in Cashman's hands.
