Avery to Continue Career in Russia

     Sean Avery could be signing with another team soon.  The New York Rangers waived the 31 year old winger yesterday.  Although no NHL team has claimed Avery, rumor has it that he could be headed out of the states to continue his career.  Sean Avery is attempting to come to an agreement with a Russian club in the KHL to finish the remainder of the season there.  He has seen very little time on the ice between November 5 and December 10, but could be an ideal replacement for a team in the Kontinental Hockey League.
