Bobcats vs. Knicks: 1/4 Final

(Image: Washington Examiner)
The New York Knicks were at it again Wednesday night as they took on the Charlotte Bobcats at Madison Square Garden. It was looking good for the Knicks on paper as both Amar'e Stoudemire and Iman Shumpert were set to return. Jarred Jeffries was still out, and the same can be said about Baron Davis.
The Knicks offense was there tonight, as they broke 100 points for the third time this season. Carmelo Anthony lead the team in scoring with 32 points; 22 of those points came in the fourth quarter alone. Amar'e Stoudemire added 25 points and 12 rebounds in his return, and rookie Iman Shumpert finished with 18.
The Knicks just lacked defense. They could not guard Boris Diaw, nor could they find an answer for Gerald Henderson or D.J. Augustin. The Bobcats ended their four game losing streak, as the Knicks fell to 2-4.

Charlotte Bobcats: 118
New York Knicks: 110
