Nets @ Cavaliers: 1/1 Final

If you cannot beat a team during its rebuilding period, then you have a problem.  In the New Jersey Nets first game of 2012, they played the Cleveland Cavaliers, and they had a problem with them as well.  Ever since LeBron James made his decision to leave Cleveland, they have become a franchise trying to build itself for contention in the Eastern conference.  Aren't the Nets trying to convince superstars that they are a team that will be built for competition?

All of New Jersey's starters finished the game with double digit scoring, but still lost to the Cavaliers by 16.  Marshon Brooks was quiet this evening. He had no points in 12 minutes.  Deron Williams had 16 points with 5 assists.  Recently acquired center Mehmet Okur 10 points and 8 rebounds, replacing the injured Brook Lopez.  With the sloppy play, I am not sure if billionaire owner Mikhail Prokhorov or part owner Jay-Z can convince a superstar to join the team as is.  What do you guys think? Will the Nets shine next year when they move to Brooklyn, or will they still be the baby sibling to the Knicks?

New Jersey Nets: 82
Cleveland Cavaliers: 98
